Spall Clark Solicitors celebrate Natasha’s nomination at the STEP Private Client Awards 2025
The team at Spall Clark attended the STEP Private Client Awards 2025 to celebrate Natasha Yelland’s nomination for the Rising Star (Legal) Award.
The STEP Private Client Awards are widely regarded as the benchmark of excellence within Private Client Legal Profession not just in England but on a global stage. The Rising Star category celebrates emerging talent and recognises individuals with five years or less of experience who have demonstrated exceptional promise, made a significant impact, and shown the potential to become future leaders. The awards attract entries from across the globe and the five nominees for the Rising Star (Legal) Award included lawyers from London, China and Brazil.
Celebration
Being nominated for such an award is a significant achievement and is well-deserved recognition of Natasha’s exceptional dedication to her role. The team joined Natasha to celebrate her shortlisting as a finalist for Rising Star (Legal) 2025.

The Awards Ceremony
The team met up at Crewe Station in Cheshire to travel together by train to London. The team were joined by the partners of Natasha and Melissa.
The awards took place at the London Hilton on Park Lane and attracted leading professionals from across the globe. The black tie ceremony began with a champagne reception followed by a three course dinner. This was a particularly special event as it marked 20 years since the first STEP Private Client Awards. The event was hosted by award winning comedian and actor, Omid Djalili, whoi has appeared in films such as ‘The Mummy’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean – At World’s End’.

About Natasha
Natasha studied at Derby University and completed her Legal Practice Course whilst working part time at a solicitors firm in Newcastle under Lyme. She qualified as a solicitor in 2023 and joined Spall Clark in 2024. Natasha has a Masters in Legal Practice with a focus on testamentary capacity and has a particular interest in advising vulnerable and elderly clients. She is an affiliate member of STEP and is currently studying for the STEP Diploma.
Natasha has a particular interest in advising on Wills and often deals with complex matters including capacity related issues and Inheritance Tax planning. Her clients have described her as “Friendly, approachable, efficient” and “brilliant from start to the finish”.
Outside of work, Natasha enjoys going out to restaurants in her spare time and has an interest in music and tries to regularly attend concerts and shows. She lives in Alsager with her fiancé, Glen.
