We are modern lawyers with traditional values. We strongly believe in providing the highest level of service and client care. One of the ways we do this is by giving our advice in plain English and avoiding legal jargon wherever possible.

We offer a clear, transparent fee charging structure and will make sure you know the fee before we undertake any work.

We are more than just solicitors, we are trusted advisers to whom you can turn for support. We always strive to achieve the best result for our clients.

We are leaders in our field and our technical excellence has been recognised by STEP granting TEP status.

We strongly believe in the importance of local community. We are actively engaged in supporting local groups in Cheshire and Manchester, and we donate 10% of our net profit to local charities.

We are great believers in taking time to listen to you and understand your legal issue. We offer a no charge initial meeting during which you can explain your legal problem and ask any questions you may have without any time pressure.

We understand that your time is precious. We will come to visit you at home or your office at a time to suit you. If you prefer you can meet us at one of our meeting rooms or arrange a meeting via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

All of our advice is provided in plain English and free of legal jargon. We offer plain English versions of all our documents and will ensure that you understand the documents before you sign anything.

Legal solutions often involve other professionals. We work together with other professionals to provide an integrated approach which is far more effective than visiting differently professionals separately.

We offer fixed fees for all of our services and there are no hidden extras.

We use modern working practices and technology to provide a quick and efficient service. We have a paperless office but we will still send documents to you by post if you prefer.

We believe that great communication is the foundation of a good relationship. This is why you will be given the mobile telephone number of your solicitor so you can contact them whenever you wish rather than having to wait for the office to open.

We are committed to supporting our environment by limiting the environmental impact of our business. This is why we made the decision to become a ‘paperless’ office. All of our correspondence is recorded electronically and we do not take paper copies.

Although we are required to keep paper versions of certain documents such as Wills, LPAs and Trust deeds, we limit our paper usage wherever possible and we have significantly reduced our environmental footprint. We consider ourselves to be ethical solicitors and we often work with financial advisors who can offer ethical investments which do not contribute to environmental damage such as deforestation.

Spall Clark donates the savings made on paper to the Community Forest Trust which supports local tree planting initiatives.

We are a modern practice committed to providing clients with the highest level of service. We offer a flexible work environment for consultant solicitors with their own following. If you are a STEP qualified solicitor looking for a new challenge as a consultant please get in touch.

Legal and other professionals:

We are committed to providing the highest level of service to our clients. We believe this can only be done by working in conjunction with our client’s other advisers such as accountants and financial advisers. We are always interested in hearing from other professionals that share our values.
