We have an in-depth knowledge of providing advice on international matters. Our advice covers people with families living abroad, second homes or off-shore assets. Paul Clark is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section and assists the Law Society with organising the annual cross border conference.

We are experts in English law and we have extensive experience of working with foreign lawyers in relation to cross border estate planning. We are able to offer advice on specific issues such as Will drafting and Inheritance tax, or we can provide a full cross border estate plan for you and your family.

We act as a hub to bring together legal advice from your advisers together in one convenient place. Our cross border estate planning report covers all jurisdictions in which you have an interest to provide an overall plan. It includes a report outlining your circumstances, your wishes and recommendations on how to achieve your aims. It combines all of our services into one convenient package.

We pride ourselves on offering a personalised service and you will be allocated your own solicitor who will guide you through the process from start to finish. All of our solicitors are full members of STEP and are considered leading experts in this area of law.

We can meet you at home, our office, your office or any other location to suit you. We also offer meetings by online video (such as Zoom, Skype and Teams) or by telephone.

Our approach

Our approach is to keep matters as simple as possible while ensuring that your wishes are met and all risks have been taken into account. By using our expertise, we keep it as straightforward for you as possible.

We provide advice on English legal matters and work with specialists in foreign legal jurisdictions to provide expert advice in all legal jurisdictions in which you have an interest. Our preferred approach is to act as a hub for your international legal advisors so that you have a single point of contact rather than having to juggle may different advisors in different time zones. We can work with your existing advisors but we can recommend advisors if you prefer.

We offer a personalised approach and we put you at the centre of everything we do. Paul Clark is our cross border expert and will work with you to guide you through the process.
