We are delighted to announce that Macclesfield based solicitor Simon Heapy has joined Spall Clark Solicitors as a Consultant Solicitor.
Simon specialises in Court of Protection and Contentious Probate and he will work closely with managing director Paul Clark in advising clients on disputes relating to wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney and Court of Protection.
Managing Director, Paul Clark said “Simon has a wealth of experience and we are delighted to welcome him to our firm”.
Expertise
Simon has previously been named as a leading individual by prestigious organisations the Legal 500 (2016) and Chambers & Partners (2016 and 2018). Prior to joining Spall Clark Solicitors as a consultant, Simon was a partner at a leading law firm in Manchester and spent time working at a solicitors practice in Macclesfield. He also acts as a consultant to another leading firm.
Simon said “having previously spent time working at a large firm in Manchester, I am delighted to be able to return to Macclesfield and join a specialist firm that is truly committed to excellence”.
Based in Macclesfield, Simon will use his extensive experience as a solicitor to help clients on matters such as challenging wills, removing executors and resolving disputes with trustees.
“We are great believers in taking time to listen to you and to understand your concerns. We are aware that the fall out from disputes can be something that you live with every day which can take its emotional toll. That is why we offer a no charge initial meeting during which you can explain your legal problems and ask any questions you may have without any time pressure.”
Outside of work
Away from the world of law, Simon lives in Macclesfield with his wife Kirsty. He is immensely passionate about supporting his local community and spent over six years as a trustee of local charity the Rossendale Trust. He spends his spare time following football (Macclesfield FC) and cricket, and is a keen guitarist and music lover. He is also fond of red wine and travelling.
