About Sofia Jibril

Legal Assistant

Sofia Jibril is a Legal Assistant at Spall Clark Solicitors. She graduated from Keele University with an LLB Law (Hons) with Criminology and has developed a strong interest in private client matters, particularly Wills, Probate, and legal drafting.

During her studies, Sofia gained valuable practical legal experience through her involvement with Keele University’s Legal Advice Clinic, where she assisted in providing guidance and support on small claims matters. She also completed a variety of legal work experience placements, including vacation schemes, legal internships, and mini-pupillages across several areas of law, further strengthening her commitment to pursuing a legal career.

Sofia is an aspiring solicitor and has been a member of the Law Society for several years. Alongside her academic studies, she was an active member of Keele University’s African-Caribbean Society and has a strong appreciation for diversity, equality, and inclusion within both the legal profession and wider society.

Outside of the legal sector, Sofia volunteered within her local community during the COVID-19 pandemic, assisting a local pharmacy with the delivery of prescriptions and medication to vulnerable individuals. This experience reinforced the importance of community engagement and helping those in need.

Originally from a village just outside London, Sofia relocated to the Midlands to attend university. During her secondary education, she also had the unique opportunity to participate in a cultural exchange programme in Spain, where she gained valuable insight into different cultures, traditions, and ways of life.

In her spare time, Sofia enjoys community volunteering, travelling, and baking. She is looking forward to commencing her Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship with Spall Clark in February 2027 and continuing to develop her legal knowledge and professional expertise.
