Artist Spotlight
Deborah Lees
Deborah has had a long-standing passion for art which started from an early age. Taking her inspiration from other talented artists, Deborah has developed her skills in both painting and drawing. She mainly uses watercolours, however she also produces pieces using acrylics, oil pastel, coloured pencil, soft pastel, graphite and ink pen. Deborah enjoys painting local landscapes in Congleton and Cheshire. She also enjoys painting portraits of people and pets in addition to sporting scenes.
For Deborah, what started off as a hobby during the covid lockdown has evolved into a creative pursuit with her work reaching a wider audience, leading to requests for commissions. Graham Berry
One particular artist who has influenced Deborah’s artistic journey is Graham Berry. Deborah started her figurative work under Graham’s tuition and some of the work she has completed under his guidance will be on display and available to purchase at our exhibition preview evening.
