We offer advice and solutions for unexpected events such as when an owner, director or shareholder suffers a serious illness of accident. Lasting Powers of Attorney can be used to decide who should act for you in those circumstances. A property and financial affairs Lasting Power of Attorney can be used to cover both personal and business matters but it is often more appropriate to create a separate Business Lasting Power of Attorney to appoint a business partner to manage business matters.

We have extensive experience of advising business owners on succession planning and we have helped many families pass on the family business whilst minimising disruptions and Inheritance Tax. A will is the starting point for many business families but we also offer succession planning reports to create a long term family plan. We are also able to factor in Inheritance Tax planning to maximise available tax allowances and minimise the tax due.

We pride ourselves on offering a personalised service and you will be allocated your own solicitor who will guide you through the process from start to finish. All of our solicitors are full members of STEP and are considered leading experts in this area of law.

We can meet you at home, our office, your office or any other location to suit you. We also offer meetings by online video (such as Zoom, Skype and Teams) or by telephone.
